Team Teaching Singers

Voice clinician Richard Miller once wrote in the Journal of Singing: “Teaching voice tends to be a go-at-it-alone enterprise, much to the detriment of students and teachers alike.” The Washington Vocal Consortium has been using a collaborative, team teaching approach since 1987.
In this podcast, the first in the “In Your Own Voice Series,” Consortium member Cate Frazier-Neely, tells us about the advantages of the team-taught approach to singing, as well as some of the challenges.
